What recurring house cleaning actually means

Recurring cleaning is less about the price than about the drift. A home cleaned every two weeks never gets far enough gone to need a long visit, so the hours stay short and the total stays low. A home cleaned twice a year needs a long visit both times.

The other half of it is the people. Our cleaners are W-2 employees on our payroll rather than a rotating contractor pool, most of them with us for years, and we dispatch them ourselves. Your notes — which floors take what, which room the dog is shut in, that the guest bathroom does not need doing every visit — stay on your home for every visit, whoever comes.

Why our price is what it is

California law effectively requires cleaning crews to be W-2 employees, which means payroll tax, workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance on every hour worked. A company quoting far below this is almost certainly misclassifying its workers. That is the honest answer to why we are not the cheapest quote you will get.

How much cheaper is recurring cleaning?

Every recurring rhythm is the advertised hourly rate, and a one-off is the list rate — the table on this page shows both. A kept-up home also takes fewer hours, so a regular visit is usually a smaller total than a one-off. It is not a discount that expires; it is the rate from the first visit.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. There is no contract and no minimum number of visits. You can move a single visit in the app, change how often we come, or stop entirely. The only thing we ask is as much notice as you can give so the crew’s day can be filled.

Who comes to my home?

Our own employees. Every maid is on our payroll, background-checked before her first visit, and most have been with us for years. Whoever comes arrives with your home’s notes rather than starting from scratch.

Should my first visit be longer?

Usually yes, unless the home has been professionally cleaned in the last couple of months. More hours up front means every recurring visit after it is genuine maintenance, which is faster and cheaper than three visits spent catching up. Slide the hours before you book.

What if I need to reschedule a visit?

Move it yourself in the app, or call us. Same-day changes are harder because the crew is already routed, so earlier is always better, but we would rather move a visit than clean a home when it does not suit you.
