Start with the old streets. Nineteenth-century rooms put their dust where nobody looks: picture rails, transom ledges, the tops of tall door casings and cornice returns. Those lines are reached with extension tools on every visit, because once they load up, one pass does not clear them.

Yes, and they are handled differently from the rest of the city. Plaster, original tile, unsealed wood and old varnish all need mild products and no standing water, so those visits use neutral cleaners and cloths rather than pads and sprays. If a room has finishes you would rather nobody touch, mark them and the crew works around them.

The residential side of the island is largely former naval officers' housing, much of it early twentieth century with wood floors, deep porches and rooms that are tall rather than wide. Those are quoted by the time it takes like anywhere else, but expect the walkthrough to take an extra minute.
That is a move-out clean rather than a standard visit, and it is priced separately. It covers the inside of cabinets and drawers, appliance interiors, window sills and tracks, light fixtures and baseboards throughout.
