What house cleaning services actually means

This is the visit that keeps a home level. It is not a restoration and it is not a rescue mission; it is the clean that means the kitchen is genuinely wiped down, the bathrooms are genuinely scrubbed, and the floors are done properly rather than spot-mopped where the light hits.

Most people book it every two weeks. The hours we plan assume a lived-in home rather than a neglected one, so if it has been six months since anyone cleaned behind the toilet, answer “it’s a mess” and give the first visit more hours — the rate is the same, the clean just takes longer.

A regular clean on a standing schedule is the cheapest way to keep a home in good shape, because nothing ever gets far enough gone to need the expensive visit.

The home is already lived-in, not neglected

If the last proper clean was within a couple of months, the lived-in hours are the right call. Further back than that, give the first visit more hours and every visit after it is a maintenance clean.

Our cleaners are employees on our payroll rather than a rotating contractor pool, most of them with us for years, and we dispatch them ourselves.

Why our price is what it is

California law effectively requires cleaning crews to be W-2 employees, which means payroll tax, workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance on every hour worked. A company quoting far below this is almost certainly misclassifying its workers. That is the honest answer to why we are not the cheapest quote you will get.

How long does a house clean take?

We plan about 2 hours for a home that is kept up, 3 for a lived-in home and 4 for one that has been let go, and you can slide the hours before you book. The quote form shows the hours along with your price.

What is the difference between a house clean and a deep clean?

Only the hours. A deep clean adds the things that are only worth doing occasionally: baseboards in full, inside appliances, grout, vents, door frames and light fixtures. It takes longer, so it costs more — at exactly the same hourly rate. There is no separate price list.

Do I need to tidy before you arrive?

No, but clear counters and floors mean the crew spends its time cleaning rather than moving things, and you get more out of the visit. If tidying is exactly what you want done, say so — general tidying is part of every clean.

Do you bring supplies and equipment?

Yes, all of it, included in the price: vacuums, mops, cloths and products. If you would rather we use your products because of an allergy, a finish, or a preference, leave them out and tell us in the booking notes.
