Yes, and same-day turnovers are common up here. We reset the kitchen, remake the beds, do the bathrooms and floors, and take out trash and recycling. If the property has a lockbox or a keypad we work from that. Tell us the checkout and check-in times and the visit is scheduled to fit inside them.
It does. From July through September we put homes up here in the earlier slots wherever the calendar allows, since working a closed-up house at three in the afternoon in triple-digit heat is slower and harder on everyone. If your house has air conditioning and you would rather have an afternoon time, that is fine too.
No, but it changes the method. Old glazed tile and porous grout do not tolerate strong acids or scouring pads, so we use a softer abrasive and a brush, and we spend longer on the grout lines than on a modern tiled surround. Point out anything with a hairline crack and we will keep water out of it.
